THE FLAME 🔥 March 2025

Firepit Art Gallery and Studios CIC | Monthly Newsletter

Whoop, March. Where did March 1st go - oops.
Wow. we have been off the scale busy in Firepit. Quick recap before we head into what we have coming up.

Feb was all about Chinese New Year. The opening day saw 800 visitors walk through the door. It was the busiest we have ever been in here. Hugely successful and an incredible amount of fun for all. We had two awesome exhibitions running throughout Feb. We also ran 24 events and workshops.

March. Well we are 12 days in, and i’m not going to lie, those 12 days have been jam packed. March 6th saw the opening of BUSTOUT100, the private view was one of the most beautiful opening nights we have ever hosted here. BUSTOUT100 runs until April 5th and is a powerful and moving exhibition to promote breast cancer awareness. All proceeds and money raised goes to Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Other News

Currently in the gallery are two signed Deborah Azzopardi prints that are in an online Auction. All proceeds go to Pink Ribbon Foundation. This is actually a really rare opportunity to own a signed print from Deborah, as a rule she rarely signs open edition prints, so this is an opportunity for you to own a very collectable item. They have also been beautifully framed by Chalk Farm Framers. Here is the link to the auction. If it hasn’t yet been updated, the auction will run till the end of March.

‘The Alfie Files’

Infamous Firepit dog Alfie, investigating more of the outdoor sculptures on Greenwich Peninsula. Demon with Bowl by Damien Hirst.
Some of the things Alfie commented on, were not really newsletter friendly. You know, things about giant sausages, he was particularly proud of himself for that one. He also wondered why the Demon was playing air guitar, he suspects he was knocking out a Motörhead lick.

See you all on Thursday evening.
