September ‘24

September is going to be a cracking month here. We had a restful month in August and are now bursting with creative energy! Our fab exhibition, ‘Art of Being’ is on throughout September. If you haven’t been yet, I strongly recommend you rectifying that this month :) Don’t just take my word for it, the image below is taken from our comments wall, it seems we have been endorsed by the whole of the U.S.

Tuesday 3rd: Fortnightly Meditation group. Our FREE meditation group, facilitated by Cara. Reserve Your Spot

Thursday 5th: Connections - FREE Art and Wellbeing Session with Pragya Kumar. Our September Edition of Pragya’s connective workshop. Reserve Your Spot This has sold out, put yourself on the waiting list though as tickets do become available.

Saturday 7th: Mandala Mug Painting Workshop. We have Jenny back for this popular workshop, at the time of writing, there is just 1 ticket left. Reserve Your Spot

Wednesday 11th: WOOLLY Wednesday. Weekly drop-in sessions designed for connection, collaboration, and creation. This is in the daytime, from 10:30am Reserve you Spot

Wednesday 11th: Yarn Play with Nicola J Reid - FREE session. Again a very popular workshop, so make sure to Reserve Your Spot well in advance!

14th - 22nd: London Design Festival. Lots going on in and around the Design District - check out the GP Website

Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th: Resident Specific workshops. If we can get any spare tickets we’ll post them on IG. The workshops look next level, Anthotype and Botanicogram.

Thursday 19th: Artist Talks. Two of our Firepit artists chatting about their latest work in the new exhibition. Hosted by Lana Mercury. This second session Lana will be chatting to Pragya Kumar and Nicola J Reid - this is a FREE event Reserve Your Spot

Friday 20th: Vision Board Creation Workshop. This workshop is a unique blend of creativity using collage technique and self-discovery. This is a great time of the year to get your vision board created. Reserve Your Spot

Saturday 21st: Pigment to Paint Workshop. Transform ordinary earth into luxurious watercolour paints, creating your own colour palette to take home with you! Reserve Your Spot

Saturday 21st: Pasta Making Class, Communal Dining Experience, Wine Pairing Option! Explore Italian filled-pasta such as tortelloni & ravioli, followed by a communal feast & amazing Italian wines available by the glass. YES!! If you say you saw this in the newsletter, you will be able to purchase it for £850. 20% of sales goes back to Firepit, to help us with the cost of running all of the programs and classes we do. Other news

Everyones favourite Firepit Artist is moving on to bigger things. She starts her MA in Fine Art at City and Guilds London School of Art, this September. We are both happy for her and very sad she is leaving and very very proud. Here is an article that was done recently with Artiq. In Conversation with Shumaiya Khan.
