January ‘24
What… 2024. So many things happening this year. The best bit of news is, we have extended our lease for a further 12 months. Shout out to Knight Dragon for being amazing sponsors of the arts!
The newsletter is short and sweet this month.
Workshops and Events
Throughout January, there are a number of very awesome wellbeing classes being run by The Hour called Thrive, these are for for those who live or work on Greenwich Peninsula. Thrive
January
Saturday 20th: Artist Experience Workshop - Free Drop in Art Experience. run by Pragya Kumar. Details and Tickets
Friday 26th and Saturday 27th: It is the end of our exhibition party. Come and join us for a drink, chat and to see the Changing Colours Exhibition one last time. We are also having studio clear-outs and discounting gallery artwork. So this is really a great opportunity to purchase some artworks at a fantastic price. Details and Tickets
Saturday 27th: Paint and Express Workshop. Free group drawing event hosted by Nelly Khanum/ Artist. Details and Tickets
Wednesday 31st: It’s back! Firepit Tales. Spoken word evening hosted by uncle_londonn. This is not to be missed. Details and Tickets
February
Thursday 1st: Luzmira Zerpa and Antarma Live in Firepit. 😱 I mean come on! Details and Tickets.
Saturday 3rd: Art and Wellness Supper Club. Caribbean and Indian Street food fusion with neurographic art. Um, yes please. Details and Tickets
Feb 8th - 23rd: - Chinese New Year intangible heritage exhibition. More on this in next months newsletter.
Through January, the continuation of our group exhibition, ‘Changing Colours’, Our opening hours are Tue-Fri 10-5pm and Sat 11-5pm. Or by appointment. Free entry.
Don’t forget we have a gift shop within the gallery.

Other News
Later this month we will be putting a community callout for new artists to fill studio space here. Keep an eye on our instagram page if you are interested.

Firepit is a non-profit artist collective. We run everything on a volunteer basis. We are on the lookout for some extra volunteers to help us out with covering the opening hours in the gallery. If this is of interest, please come and have a chat.
