Firepit Art Gallery - News and Updates
Firepit Art Gallery and Studios CIC
Morning. Super quick email. Need to let you know about some of the amazing things happening in and around Firepit Art Gallery.
First of all, I apologise for the lack of April’s actual newsletter. Back to normal service in May.

7-11 May, Firepit Art Gallery are taking part in this years Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead. This is a huge deal for us and one that helps to raise our profile as a contemporary London Art Gallery even further. It is a fantastic fair, extremely professional and well organised. The galleries and the artists that they are bringing, all have to submit and go through a selection committee to be excepted into the fair. This means that the art fair itself is full of incredible artwork, that is of a very high standard.
We have some free complimentary tickets available, so if you fancy popping by to say hi, we are on stand C8. If you’d like me to send you the link for the tickets, please email - [email protected]
Urban Village Fete
MAY 18 - SUNDAY. 11am - 7pm
Main Urban Village Website
This is, so I have been told, the largest free Festival in London.
Firepit is running 3 bookable kids workshops:
Art Workshop for Kids - Funny Elephant with Acrylic Markers
Art Workshop for Kids - Dream House with Acrylic Markers
Art Workshop for Kids - Self-Portrait using Oil Pastels
We are welcoming back BUSTOUT100 for a day, with their hugely successful photographic exhibition promoting breast cancer awareness. Gift shop is open, Book shop is open, our exhibition EXPOSED is running.
But my absolute favourite thing ever, is we have Cambridge based brewery BREWBOARD, coming down for the day to join us in our bar, selling three of their fantastic craft beers on tap. Bar will be open from 11am to 7pm. We also will have a really affordable and great selection of wines and beers. And we stock some great soft drink alternatives. Cheers!

We have had some fantastic events so far this month. From Djembe drumming, Sculpture making, Panel Talks, Sound Bath, Meditation, Yarn Play, Drawing class, craft workshops. Many of these are free and all of the Firepit organised ones are subsidised to make them affordable for all.
