December 2025
Firepit Art Gallery | Monthly Newsletter | The Flame 🔥
Greetings and welcome to the 12th act of 2025.
One more month until we hit ‘26 where the world will predictably get crazier and more f’d up than this year. Don’t forget we have a choice in our smaller groups of people and communities to be strong and look out for each other, be kind, always. Change the world, one person at a time. When we look at things as a whole, it often feels incredibly overwhelming and out of our control, broken down, it is far more realistic and manageable.
Ok, let’s get the show on the road. We have fantastic gifts for you to buy your loved ones or for yourself, from candles to keyrings to prints to major pieces of Fine Art. Our event schedule is somewhat decreased for the month. With London residents evaporating the closer to Christmas we get. Firepit will be open, with its last public day of this year being on December 19th. Re-opening Jan 6th
Firepit Gallery Exhibitions: The F Word is running through December. Forty Five incredible artists. An exhibition from artists who are exploring the depth, diversity, and power of what it means to be a woman and a creative voice in the world today. Press Release and Catalogue. We are also having a special F Word Christmas Social - everyone is welcome and another fantastic opportunity to meet some of the artists and the curators. Friday December 12th

We’re seeking submissions for two of our upcoming 2026 exhibitions!
Call for Art: The Abstract Condition
At Firepit Art Gallery, we believe art is most powerful when it connects people — when it stirs something real. The Abstract Condition brings together artists who use colour, form, and gesture to explore feeling beyond words. Each work is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find your own meaning within the abstract. This exhibition is about emotion, expression, and the joy of seeing where imagination can take us.
The submission deadline is February 8th 2026. We will start to choose artists from January to use for the promotion and marketing of the event, so it is recommended to get your submissions in early. The Exhibition will run from March 26th to June 27th 2026. We will have the opening night party on Thursday March 26th 2026. We would require all work to be delivered, no later than March 2nd. There is no fee to apply. We are committed to inclusivity and providing a supportive and respectful space for all participants.

Call for Art: Pink Ribbon Foundation
The Firepit Gallery are once again joining forces with The Pink Ribbon foundation in raising awareness of breast cancer through the medium of art. Opening on 27th January and running until 14th February, the event will include some inspirational images to encourage engaging conversations. This is an artist call out for artwork submissions relating to breast cancer. All mediums are welcome to suit this event.
The exhibition will focus on breast cancer and breast cancer awareness, including themes of diagnosis, treatment, support, care, survivorship and the emotional journeys connected to them.
Participating artists are invited to submit works inspired by these ideas, reflecting experiences of resilience, hope, community and compassion. All submitted pieces will be sold to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg. Charity no. 1080839), either in full or in part depending on the artist’s preference.
The submission deadline is December 16th. The Exhibition will run from January 27th to February 14th 2026. There will be a 'soft' opening on January 27th, with the opening night celebration on February 4th, coinciding with world cancer day. We would require all work to be delivered, no later than January 23rd.

“You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.”
