Exhibition Special

We are exhibition focused this month. As always we have our full program of events and workshops. Follow this link to see what we have on and reserve you spaces. We are constantly updating, so it’s not a bad idea to follow our linktree page.

We will have another newsletter going out a little later in the month with all our other news. But for this one, let’s have a look at the exhibitions that we have coming up over the next couple of months.

We had a soft opening a couple of weeks ago, but this is the official opening night celebration. This exhibition is absolutely brilliant, already having received some incredible feedback and reviews. I highly recommend a visit on the opening this Thursday, it is a great chance to meet the artists & Firepit team. They are also notoriously really fun nights. We will have a DJ - SUMZ and a free welcome prosecco on entry (while the stock lasts)

The Abstract Condition brings together a carefully curated collection of original works exploring the many possibilities of abstraction. Featuring 40 artists connected to Firepit’s growing creative community — from emerging voices to more established practitioners — the exhibition presents a wide range of approaches to colour, form, texture and process. We are displaying 70 artworks in this exhibition.

Some works are bold and immediate, others quieter and more contemplative. Together they create a space where viewers can spend time with the work, allowing different meanings, emotions and interpretations to emerge.

At Firepit, exhibitions are about more than simply showing work on a wall. They are about creating a shared space where artists, ideas and audiences come together. The Abstract Condition reflects that spirit — a gathering of different practices and perspectives, united by the freedom and openness that abstraction allows.

For collectors, art lovers and first-time buyers alike, the exhibition also offers the opportunity to acquire original artworks directly from the artists, supporting independent creative practice and becoming part of Firepit’s growing community.

We have had the privilege to have worked and collaborate with LaCultur4 on a number of occasions. Everything they have brought to Firepit has been spectacular and utterly heartwarming.

Join us for the opening night of Mi casa, tu casa, a group exhibition bringing together Latin American artists from around the world.

This exhibition explores intimate reflections of home the quiet details, the memories, and the feelings we carry within us. It is not about what is expected or immediately visible, but about what is deeply personal and truly ours.

Featuring a selection of wall-based works, each piece offers a unique and nuanced perspective on identity, belonging, and memory.

Come celebrate the artists, connect with the community, and experience these powerful visual narratives in an intimate gallery setting.

Presented in dialogue with the live performances of The Circle of Everything at Cockpit Theatre on 15th & 16th May 2026.

The Cosmos Within is a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring the idea that the universe exists not only around us, but also within us. The Enso circle becomes a visual expression of that inner cosmos.

The exhibition presenting Kamila’s wider visual practice in response to Enso philosophy and the theme of interconnectivity — exploring emotional and mental wellbeing and inviting visitors to reconnect with themselves, others, and the world.

At the centre of the exhibition is the Enso circle — the iconic Zen symbol represents the circle of life, interconnectivity to all existence and infinite flow of life energy. Painted in one masterstroke, one breath and no corrections afterwards. It also holds duality of our existence with profound grace; empty yet full, infinite yet complete, closed yet open, separation yet oneness.

The exhibition will feature over 50 works, including a worldwide premier of "The Circle of Everything" film, Enso-inspired abstract paintings, calligraphy, photography, and site installations featuring poetry phones as well as the Japanese brush suspended in the air and used during the live performances.

I believe that by remembering that we are part of something greater, we can remember who we truly are and what we are capable of” - Kamila CK
